File Sharing Sites are really bad for your PC!

Over the years we have had a number of clients that have asked about file sharing sites, such as the ones above, and want to know whether they should or shouldn’t download files from these types of sites.

I have tried to find the best way to explain it, besides the fact that my understanding is that it is illegal, it also is dangerous.

The analogy I am getting ready to use may offend some readers and I am sorry if it does, but it really makes the point.

Would you go to an orgy?  (Please don’t answer that I don’t want to know.)

If you would go to one, would you participate even though no precautions were being taken to prevent STD’s?

When you download files, i.e. music, from file sharing sites, it is akin to going to an orgy where you don’t know everyone and you know that nobody will be taking any precautions.  Besides the moral aspect, it is just plain dangerous and not a very smart thing to do.

So, please uninstall LimeWire and all other file-sharing programs and then delete all the files you have downloaded.  If you don’t you may end up having to hire a professional to get rid of the stuff you “catch.”

And as always, if you need assistance, we are here to help.

Thomas’ Song by Ken Young

A song we are learning in our small singing group is called Thomas’ Song by Ken Young.  The words are so meaningful that I wanted to share them.  So, below are the words and there is also a link to an mp3 you can listen to.  It is not a professionally recorded mp3 but you will still get the gist of the song.

This song could be “Dennis’ Song” or “____________ Song” with your name in the blank.

Here are the Lyrics:

Thomas' Song

Ken Young

Verse 1
Jesus, You were all to me,
Why did You die on Calvary?
O Lamb of God I fail to see
How this could be part of the plan.
They say that You're alive again,
But I saw death and ev'ry sin
Reach out to claim their darkest win.
How could this be part of the plan?

Chorus 1
If I could only hold your hand,
And touch the scars
Where nails were driven.
I would need to feel Your side
Where holy flesh by spear was riven
Then I'd believe, only then I'd believe
Your cruel death was part of the heavenly plan.

Verse 2
Holy presence, holy face;
A vision filling time and space.
Your nearness makes my spirit race.
Could this be part of the plan.
I see the wounds that caused the cry,
From heaven, ocean, earth, and sky;
Where people watched their Savior die.
Could this be part of the plan?

Chorus 2
Reaching out to hold Your hand,
And touch the scars where nails were driven;
Coming near I feel Your side
Where holy flesh by spear was riven.
Now I believe. Jesus, now I believe.
Your cruel death was part of a heavenly plan.

Ending
I proudly say with blazon cry.
"You are my Lord and my God."

We have nothing to apologize for!

A good friend shared this with me today and I wanted to share it with you.  His actually had pictures of each of the cemeteries he referenced.  The pictures did not make this transfer but the point is still made.  Twenty foreign cemeteries with American Hero’s buried in them.

We’ve sacrificed enough of our own saving others that they should be eternally grateful.

1. The American Cemetery at Aisne-Marne, France. A total of 2289 of our military dead.

2. The American Cemetery at Ardennes, Belgium. A total of
5329 of our dead.

3. The American Cemetery at Brittany, France. A total of
4410 of our military dead. Excuse us.

4. Brookwood, England American Cemetery. A total of
468 of our dead.

5. Cambridge, England..
3812 of our military dead.

6. Epinal, France American Cemetery. A total of
5525 of our Military dead..

7. Flanders Field, Belgium. A total of
368 of our military.

8. Florence, Italy. A total of
4402 of our military dead.

9. Henri-Chapelle, Belgium. A total of
7992 of our military dead.

10. Lorraine, France. A total of
10,489 of our military dead...

11. Luxembourg, Luxembourg. A total of
5076 of our military dead.

12. Meuse-Argonne. A total of
14246 of our military dead.

13. Netherlands, Netherlands. A total of
8301 of our military dead.

14. Normandy, France. A total of
9387 of our military dead.

15. Oise-Aisne, France. A total of
6012 of our military dead..

16. Rhone, France. A total of
861 of our military dead.

17. Sicily, Italy. A total of
7861 of our military dead.

18. Somme, France. A total of
1844 of our military dead.

19. St. Mihiel, France. A total of
4153 of our military dead..

20. Suresnes, France. a total of
1541 of our military dead.

Apologize to no one.

Remind those of our sacrifice and don't confuse arrogance with leadership.
If I added correctly the count is
104,366 dead.
And we have to watch an American elected leader who apologizes to Europe and the Middle East that our country is "arrogant"!

HOW MANY FRENCH, DUTCH, ITALIANS, BELGIANS AND BRITS ARE BURIED ON OUR SOIL, DEFENDING US AGAINST OUR ENEMIES?
WE DON'T ASK FOR PRAISE ... BUT WE HAVE ABSOULUTELY NO NEED TO APOLOGIZE!!

PLEASE---- DO NOT DELETE, DO THINK ABOUT THIS. THANK YOU.

I hope you remember this when election time comes around again.

Noah the Dove

This one makes you wonder who are the smart  ones.
How we treat the weakest among us, is how we will be judged.
~ Mehmet Oz, M.D.
Noah the Dove
clip_image001
These little bunnies, about 6 days old, were  attacked by a dog and orphaned. Two out of the litter of five did not  survive, and these three were not doing very well.

clip_image002
Noah is a non-releasable,  one-legged homing pigeon/rock dove that is in the rehab centre. Noah kept  going over to the bunny cage and looking in -- even sleeping in front of  the door to the cage.

clip_image003

Then, suddenly, there were only two bunnies in  the cage.  But when Noah moved a bit from the front of the cage to  everyone's surprise...there was the tiny bunny...under Noah's wing...sound  asleep! That little bunny rabbit had crawled through the cage, preferring  a featherbed, no doubt to snuggling up with its  littermates!

clip_image004
Now, they are all together and the bunnies are  doing GREAT. When the bunnies scoot underneath Noah's feathers, he  carefully extends his wings out to surround them and then they snuggle.  When one of them moves and they start sticking out here and there, he  gently pushes them back under him with his beak!  It is beautiful and  amazing to see...

This is what God does with us when we need  the warmth and love He offers. He gathers us under His loving wings to a  warm cradle of protection. All we need do in return is give Him the thanks  and praise for being with us.

Update on Noah the  pigeon:
We are Bob and Georganne Lenham of Wild Rose Rescue Ranch in  Texas, home of Noah the Pigeon.
After finding many posts online  featuring Noah and the bunnies and reading about the many lives he has  touched (his story has been forwarded around the world) we thought we'd  post a follow-up and a few new photos.
We knew there was something  special about Noah the moment we saw him.
Although the bunnies seem to  be his favorite, Noah helps out with many rescue babies here at the Wild  Rose Rescue Ranch...
Noah's first litter of bunnies, almost raised and   ready for release.

Now, Noah helps out with many  rescue babies here at the ranch...
How wonderful it is to have a  full-time soft-feathered nurturer here at the rescue ranch! He cuddles  with all the babies as they snuggle under his warm feathers...and he  "coos" as if singing them to sleep with a lullaby.
Noah is truly, truly  a God-send.
He will cover you with His feathers
And under His  wings you will find refuge.
Psalm 91:4
Please look for the new book   "Noah and The Bunnies" to be released in Summer '09 from "A String  of Pearl's Tails." Each book in the series tells the story of a wildlife  baby here at Wild Rose Rescue Ranch.

The purpose  of God, will never contradict the promises of  God.
