My daughter's husband has two daughters from a previous marriage.  The oldest one just had a little girl.  So, I guess this make me a Step-Great Grandfather!

 

Feels kind of weird....becoming a Great Grandfather before age 50!  Of course my Grandson Will already knows I'm a GREAT grandfather.

Have you ever wanted to have more say in how your city and county are run?  Would you like to have a conversation with other citizens who also want to have more say?

A friend of mine sent the following to me recently.  I thought you might enjoy it.

 

Being a Christian is like being a pumpkin.   God lifts you up, takes you in, and washes all the dirt off of you.   He opens you up, touches you deep inside and scoops out all the yucky stuff-- including the seeds of doubt, hate, greed, etc.     Then He carves you a new smiling face and puts His light inside you to shine for all the world to see.   This was passed on to me from another pumpkin.   Now, it is your turn to pass it to a pumpkin.   I liked this enough to send it to all the pumpkins in my patch.   Happy Fall!
